About the tour

About Goa

Goa — India’s smallest state with the biggest personality. 450 years of Portuguese rule have left whitewashed churches, colourful houses, fish curry and feni. Add 100 km of beaches, world-class nightlife in the north, secluded crescents in the south, monsoon-fed waterfalls, and the only Portuguese fado music scene in Asia — and you have India’s eternal favourite holiday destination.

Best Time to Visit

  • November – February — peak season. Perfect 22–32 °C, beach parties, Christmas/New Year on the beach.
  • March – May — hot but quieter. Cheaper rates, beach shacks still open till mid-May.
  • June – September — monsoon. Most beach shacks close, but Dudhsagar Falls and the green hinterland are spectacular.
  • October — shoulder month with great prices and reopening shacks.
